Project Agreement

Project Agreement for Design Services

This Agreement is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between:

Doorstep-IT, a web design agency located at South Africa, hereinafter referred to as “Doorstep-IT” or “Company”, and

you as our new client, hereinafter referred to as “Client”.

WHEREAS, Client desires to engage Doorstep-IT to design and develop a website, and Doorstep-IT desires to provide such services.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows:

1. Services

Doorstep-IT agrees to provide the following services to Client:

  • Website Design and Development: Design and develop a website based on Client’s specifications and requirements.
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize the website for search engines to improve visibility.
  • Social Media Management: Create and manage social media profiles for the website.

2. Project Timeline

The estimated time for completion of the website project is between 7 and 14 days. However, the actual project timeline may be longer depending on the complexity of the project and the responsiveness of the Client. Doorstep-IT will communicate any anticipated delays to the Client as soon as possible.

3. Payment

  • 50% deposit is required before Doorstep-IT begins work on the project.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the project and before the website is launched.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.

4. Domain and Hosting

Client is responsible for purchasing a domain name and web hosting. Doorstep-IT can assist Client with this process if needed.

  • Domain Hosting: R100 per month or R1000.00 once-off for a full year.

5. Images and Content

  • Client is responsible for providing all necessary content and images for the website.
  • Doorstep-IT recommends supplying high-quality industry or company images.
  • If Client chooses not to provide their own images, Doorstep-IT can purchase stock images for an additional fee.

6. Revisions and Changes

  • Client is entitled to a limited number of revisions to the website design.
  • Any additional revisions or changes requested by Client after the initial design is approved may be subject to additional fees.

7. Support

Doorstep-IT will provide ongoing support to Client via email and recommendations. This includes answering questions, providing troubleshooting assistance, and offering advice on website maintenance and optimization.

8. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, Client will be responsible for paying for all services rendered up to the date of termination.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all information received from the other party in connection with this Agreement.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

12. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement as of the date first written above.
